As a proud 10th generation Mainer, I’ve got a long-standing love for this beautiful state in my bones. I was a military brat, bouncin’ ‘round the country, but let me tell ya, Maine always had a way of callin’ me back home.

Us Mainers? We’re built a bit different, that’s for sure! Sure, we might not see eye to eye on everything—like whether a lobster roll should be served with mayo or butter—but when it comes to lookin’ out for our neighbors, we’re all in! Kindness runs deep in our veins, but don’t go mistakin’ that for weakness, folks! We’re tough as nails and aren’t afraid to stand up to wingnuts, dipsticks or bullies of any kind (even the presidential type folks). We believe in the goodness of our people, and the importance of leading with love— that’s why we are MAINE PROUD!
